Emily Davis Shannon, PT, DPT

Emily graduated from the University of North Georgia’s DPT program in 2015. She has been practicing in the private outpatient pediatric setting and Babies Can’t Wait Early Intervention program since 2015. She is well versed in kinesio taping, neuromuscular re-education with electrical stimulation, serial casting, hippo-therapy, and aquatic therapy. Emily has experience treating children with a variety of disorders, including but not limited to: torticollis, developmental delay, post-stroke, conversion disorder, Down’s syndrome, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, mitochondrial disorders, and autism. Emily played collegiate soccer at UNG while obtaining her undergraduate degree and she continues to be an avid runner. She has a daughter named Cora who is her best running buddy.
